Eduardo of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Tragically Passes Away in Motorcycle Accident, Family Seeks Support

The Port Saint Lucie, Florida community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Eduardo, a beloved uncle, friend, and dedicated local baker, who tragically passed away following a motorcycle accident on June 14, 2025.

Eduardo, affectionately known as “Edu” to those close to him, was rushed to the hospital after the crash, where medical teams performed emergency surgery in an effort to save his life. Sadly, despite their efforts, Eduardo did not survive his injuries.

Remembering Eduardo

Eduardo was a cherished figure in the lives of his family, friends, and neighbors. Known for his unwavering kindness and generous spirit, he was the type of person who would drop everything to help those in need. 

His niece, Valeria Colin, described him as “a light in everyone’s life,” always ready with a listening ear and a helping hand.

A hardworking man with a passion for baking, Eduardo worked at a local bakery in Port Saint Lucie, where his pastries were loved by many in the community. 

Despite facing many challenges throughout his life, Eduardo remained positive, resilient, and full of warmth. He was lovingly called “Tio Elu” by Valeria’s children, a title he proudly embraced.

Fundraiser Launched to Support Funeral Costs for Eduardo

In the wake of this tragic and unexpected loss, Eduardo’s family is seeking help to cover funeral expenses. His niece Valeria has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser to support Eduardo’s mother — with whom he lived — and to give him the farewell he deserves.

The sudden nature of his passing has left the family in need of financial support to manage funeral arrangements.

Valeria shared, “Any help means the world to my mother and our family as we try to honor my uncle’s memory.”
