A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, and loyal friend, Janice’s passing has left her family and community in deep sorrow.
Obituary for Janice Elaine McDow
Janice Elaine McDow, a lifelong resident of Rainsville, was known for her kind heart, unwavering strength, and infectious smile. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Dylan McDow, and their four precious children — Lucy, Ruby, Damian, and Daniel McDow.
Janice found her greatest joy in motherhood, dedicating every day to nurturing and caring for her children. Her warmth, compassion, and ability to uplift those around her made her a treasured figure in the lives of many.
She was the beloved daughter of Melissa Fallon and Thomas Simpson, and shared close bonds with her siblings, including Zachery Simpson, Tyler Bing, Justus Bell, Austin Berry, Dakoda Bell, Kade Berry, Jaycie Bell, and Tasha Shavers. Janice was also a loving granddaughter to Bobby and Patsy Cole, who, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, mourn her sudden passing.
In a heartbreaking turn, Janice’s infant son, Dante Micheal McDow, also passed away alongside her. Their joint loss has left an unfillable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to gather in remembrance of Janice and Dante at W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in Shiloh, Rainsville.
