Qi’Adrian Gordon has sadly passed away: Clayton County community is reeling from a heartbreaking act of violence that claimed the life of Qi’Adrian Gordon, a 17-year-old teen who was tragically shot and killed Wednesday evening, June 25, 2025, just outside the Kroger store located at 10375 Tara Boulevard.
At approximately 8:33 p.m., Clayton County Police responded to reports of a shooting. Officers arrived to find Qi’Adrian lying on the sidewalk just feet from the store’s front entrance, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police and eyewitness reports, gunshots rang out before a vehicle was seen fleeing the area. As of Thursday morning, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Qi’Adrian’s untimely death has left his family, friends, and the broader community in deep mourning. Tributes have begun pouring in on social media, with friends and family remembering him as a bright young soul taken far too soon. One relative wrote:
